 What I teach

 AP ART HISTORY

Ap Art History is a course that explores 250 works chosen by the College    Board. In this course, your students and I will analyse the cultures and   context behind paintings, artifacts, sculptures, architecture, and other   forms of media.

In May, your students will be taking the College Board Exam in order to    obtain  college credit. More information about how AP credits help your    students in  the future can be found here

This course at a COLLEGE LEVEL. To prepare your students for college,    late work is accepted only one day after, with two letter grades taken off.  f(Of course,  there are exceptions to this  rule in certain circumstances.)

The College Board has a much more detailed description of this course,    which you can read here

 ART HISTORY Honors

Art History Honors is a different course than its AP counterpart. In    Art History Honors, my students and I explore the cultures and context

of art, ranging to the Prehistoric to Post-Modernism.

Students often take this course PRIOR to AP Art History, but it is NOT   required. However, it is recommended to do so.

Late work is accepted up to 3 days after the due date, with a letter grade    off for each additional day. (Of course, there are exceptions to this rule in    certain circumstances.)

 PAINTING 1

Painting 1 is an introductory art class that teaches basic skills. My    students will learn about different styles, artists, and types of paint.

We will use several different paints and mediums in order to create    amazing art.

There is LAB FEE of $7 that is DUE at the BEGINNING of the FIRST    SEMESTER. This pays for new paints and canvases and replacing    damaged tools.

If there is any sort of problem with paying the fee, please do not hesitate

to contact me. I am happy to help/accommodate.

Late work is accepted up to 3 days after the due date, with a letter grade    off for each additional day. (Of course, there are exceptions to this rule in    certain circumstances.)
